The Big Crown Pointer Date wears its aviation heritage in every detail. The round 40mm stainless steel case stands 12mm tall with a lug-to-lug span of 47.5mm, and the oversized screw-down crown — designed originally for gloved hands — remains a defining feature. A domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating sits above the lilac-purple dial, which carries printed Arabic numerals and a distinctive central pointer hand for the date. The Oris 754 calibre, based on the Sellita SW200-1, runs at 4Hz with a 41-hour power reserve and a hacking seconds function. Hands, indices, and numerals are coated with Super-LumiNova. The watch sits on a stainless steel H-link bracelet, secured by Oris's own folding deployant clasp.
