The tonneau-shaped stainless steel case measures 44mm across and 13.6mm thick, with a fixed bezel detailed by hex bolt accents that give the watch its angular character. A hardened mineral crystal sits over the black dial, which carries luminous hands and markers alongside a date function. The screw-down caseback adds a secure finish at the rear. An 18.5mm lug width feeds into a black bio TPU silicone strap fastened with a pin buckle, keeping the watch comfortably in place. Power comes from a Miyota 2115 quartz movement, and water resistance is rated to 50 metres.

Philipp Plein founded his label in Munich in 1998, initially designing furniture before moving into fashion. The brand built itself on deliberate excess and has been divisive throughout.
The watches follow suit: heavy gold and black PVD plating, skull motifs, dense crystal setting, and large cases. Movements are quartz. There is no attempt at horological restraint and none is intended.
The brand knows precisely what it is doing and does it without apology, which at least makes it coherent.
