Police Forever Batman Red Strap Watch - Limited Edition - W44151
Ref. PEWGD0022604
One of 10,000 pieces made under the official Batman and Police collaboration, this is an unambiguous collector's object rather than a general-purpose watch. The red dial carries a textured, three-dimensional bat emblem at its centre, and a dedicated button activates an electro-luminescent backlight that washes the entire dial in light — a feature that suits the character reference and makes the watch legible in the dark in a way that feels appropriate to it. At 45mm across and 13.5mm deep, it wears large and knows it. The 28mm lug width means the red leather strap fills the wrist and the black PVD case has real presence — this is not a watch that disappears under a sleeve, nor is it trying to. The strap and dial read as a coordinated set, and the black of the buckle keeps everything anchored to the case rather than breaking away from it.

Learn more about Police
Police began in Italy in 1983 as an eyewear brand under the Vogue and later De Rigo groups, and built its identity on sunglasses worn by film and music figures through the 1980s and 1990s.
The watches are licensed rather than made in-house, produced under agreement by a specialist watch manufacturer and sold through jewellers and department stores alongside the eyewear and fragrance.
Design follows the label: heavy cases, dark PVD finishes, exposed screws and industrial detailing, skull and heraldic motifs, and a masculine, deliberately loud aesthetic that changes with the season rather than the decade.
Movements are quartz, occasionally multi-function, and prices sit in the fashion-watch bracket.
Taken as an accessory that matches a particular look, the range does what it sets out to. It is not a watchmaking company and does not present itself as one.

Frequently asked questions, and things you should know about this watch
Can I swim with it?
Showering yes, swimming no. 50m covers splashes and brief immersion, but a swimming stroke generates well above the pressure that figure describes.
Will the glass scratch?
It can, over time. Mineral glass handles daily wear but will pick up fine scratches that sapphire would not.
Does it need a battery?
Yes. It is quartz, so expect a battery change every two to three years at a jeweller.
What size strap does it take?
28mm. Any strap of that width will fit, and on most modern watches quick-release bars make the swap a two-minute job with no tools.
Is it a men's or women's watch?
Listed as men's.
