The Scottie dog motif has been Radley's calling card since the brand launched, and it appears here on the dial as a quietly personal touch rather than a logo slapped on a bezel. The etched, satin-finished centre gives the dial some depth — it catches the light differently depending on angle, which is more than most fashion watches at this size manage. At 35mm the case is an easy fit on slimmer wrists, and the dark ink blue of the leather strap does useful work against the warm gold case, stopping it reading as too sweet. A buckle fastening keeps things simple and replaceable.
