Radley RY21872A Oatmilk Leather Strap Watch - W51517
Ref. RY21872A
Sits in Radley’s upper tier here — more premium than three quarters of the Radley watches we list, which start at £40.
Price range £40 to £115 across 46 Radley watches in stock.A small, light watch built for daily wear rather than any particular adventure — the 27mm case sits close to the wrist and reads as jewellery first. The mother-of-pearl dial shifts with the light in the way that only the real material does, and the beige leather strap keeps the whole thing warm rather than stark against the skin. The butterfly clasp underneath adds a tidiness that a standard buckle on a strap this fine would not. The Scottie dog charm hanging from the case is the brand's long-running signature, here rendered in enamel — it is the detail that makes this unmistakably a Radley rather than a generic dress watch at this size, and either that will appeal or it will not.

Learn more about Radley
Radley London was founded in 1998 as a handbag brand, and named for the founder's Scottish terrier. The dog became the logo, and remains the single most recognisable thing about the label — stamped, embossed, or hanging from a bag as a leather charm.
The watches are licensed rather than manufactured in-house, produced by a specialist watch maker under agreement and sold through the same department stores and jewellers as the bags.
They are designed as accessories to the accessories: slim cases, printed or textured dials, coloured leather straps, and the terrier appearing on the dial, the caseback or the strap keeper. Quartz movements, gift-market pricing.
Radley is a well-run British accessories brand and its watches are exactly what the label suggests they are — coordinated, characterful and inexpensive, rather than horological.

Frequently asked questions, and things you should know about this watch
Can I swim with it?
No. At 30m it will survive rain and handwashing, but not submersion of any kind.
Will the glass scratch?
Unlikely. Sapphire is second only to diamond in hardness and shrugs off everyday marking.
Does it need a battery?
No. It charges from light, and the cell behind that is designed to last a decade or more.
What size strap does it take?
12mm. Any strap of that width will fit, and on most modern watches quick-release bars make the swap a two-minute job with no tools.
Is it a men's or women's watch?
Listed as women's.
