Stepping up in Raymond Weil's range
The rectangular wristwatch enjoyed a particular moment in the 1920s and 1930s, and Raymond Weil drew on that Art Deco lineage deliberately when building the Toccata collection — a line shaped around the brand's musical identity, with violinist Nicola Benedetti involved in its development. This all-steel bracelet variant sits alongside leather-strap and gold PVD siblings, the three sharing the same elongated case. At 6.25mm thick, the case is remarkably flat for a rectangular watch — slim enough that it disappears under a cuff and sits without any sense of bulk on a smaller wrist. The white dial carries black Roman numerals and polished hands, which read cleanly in most light, and the bevelled case edge creates an impression of depth that the profile itself does not carry. The deployment clasp keeps the bracelet sitting evenly without the lift that a tang buckle can introduce at the wrist.
