At 41.5mm this one is neither assertive nor apologetic, and the two-tone treatment, yellow gold PVD on the bezel and the bracelet's centre links against brushed steel, is handled with enough restraint to stay on the right side of the line. The Soprod P24 inside is the more interesting choice. Roamer could have used a Sellita SW200 or an ETA 2824 — both are perfectly serviceable — but the P24 runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a hacking seconds hand, which makes setting it against a reference a cleaner operation than most movements at this level allow. The butterfly clasp adjusts on a pin system rather than screws, which is quicker to resize but worth knowing before you sit down with a tool.
