Drawn from the case geometry of the 1972 Seiko 'Panda' chronograph, the SPB515J1 carries that same flowing silhouette in a 39.5mm stainless steel case with a super-hard coating. At under 12mm thick and 44.5mm lug to lug, it sits neatly on the wrist. A curved sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating sits above a matte black dial, with a contrasting grey countdown bezel insert for pacing calculations. LumiBrite covers the hands, indices, and inner reference triangle. Inside runs the in-house calibre 6R55, self-winding with manual wind capability, a 72-hour power reserve, and a hacking seconds hand. Water resistance stands at 200 metres.
