At 22.5mm and 6.9mm deep, the Mia sits closer to jewellery proportions than to anything you would call a sport or everyday watch — it is small enough to stack with bangles and slim enough to disappear under a cuff without a ridge. The square case gives it the shape of an earlier generation of dress watches, and the all-gold PVD finish reads consistently across the case and integrated bracelet, which helps at this scale. The dark mother-of-pearl dial is the detail that holds interest. Tommy Hilfiger founded his label in New York in 1985, building it on American preppy sportswear — nautical stripes, red-white-and-blue, collegiate references. The watches are produced under licence by Movado Group.
