Named for Donatella Versace's Jack Russell terrier, the Audrey V is one of the more personally motivated pieces the house has produced — a Swiss-made quartz dressed in the full vocabulary of the brand, but with something genuinely affectionate underneath the gilt. The dial is where the watch announces itself: a sunray silver surface with a three-dimensional Medusa head at twelve and a silhouette of Audrey herself worked into the design, flanked by gold-tone studded hour markers that read as costume jewellery in the best sense. At 38mm the case sits confidently without tipping into sportswear territory, and at under 8mm thick it lies flat enough that the butterfly clasp on the two-tone bracelet closes flush against the wrist rather than stacking.
