Stepping up in Versace's range

Price range £409 to £899 across 26 Versace watches in stock.

The Hellenyium sits in a 42mm stainless steel case just 10mm thick, finished in a two-tone silver and gold-tone combination. A fixed bezel carries an engraved logo, and the sapphire crystal protects a green sunray dial arranged with index markers, a date window, and baton hands that hold a luminous charge for low-light reading. The two-tone bracelet mirrors the case finishing and fastens with a push-button deployment clasp. The Swiss quartz movement is rated to 50 metres.

Learn more about Versace

Gianni Versace founded his house in Milan in 1978 and built it on maximalism — bold prints, Greek key borders, and the Medusa head he took from the floor of the Roman ruins he played in as a child. Donatella Versace took over after his death in 1997.

The watches are Swiss made, produced through Timex Group's Swiss division, and carry the house iconography prominently: Medusa medallions on dials and crowns, Greca patterns on bezels and bracelets.

Movements are Swiss quartz and automatic. The watches sit above the licensed-fashion tier on build, while remaining unmistakably design-led rather than horology-led.

Frequently asked questions, and things you should know about this watch

Can I swim with it?

Showering yes, swimming no. 50m covers splashes and brief immersion, but a swimming stroke generates well above the pressure that figure describes.

Water resistance explained

Will the glass scratch?

Unlikely. Sapphire is second only to diamond in hardness and shrugs off everyday marking.

Sapphire, mineral and acrylic compared

Does it need a battery?

Yes. It is quartz, so expect a battery change every two to three years at a jeweller.

Quartz, automatic and solar compared

Is it a men's or women's watch?

Listed as men's.
