The Hellenyium GMT is Versace's case for the house entering serious watchmaking territory — a collection that takes the Medusa motif and builds it into a watch with genuine dual-time capability rather than purely decorative credentials. The GMT hand tracks a second time zone independently, driven by a Ronda Swiss calibre, and the 24-hour marked bezel is in gold-plated steel, which keeps it legible without breaking the two-tone scheme running through the whole piece. At 42mm and only 10mm deep, the proportions are notably slim for a watch carrying this much surface interest. The sunray brown dial shifts in light — warmer under tungsten, cooler and more bronze in daylight — and the gold-tone Roman numerals and Medusa head at twelve read as deliberate house signatures rather than decoration applied afterwards.
