Versace VE5G00626 Greca Edge Ladies Watch
Ref. VE5G00626
Sits in Versace’s upper tier here — more premium than three quarters of the Versace watches we list, which start at £409.
Price range £409 to £899 across 32 Versace watches in stock. The Greca Edge collection is built around a single visual argument: that the Greek fret pattern Versace has used since its founding can carry an entire watch rather than serve as an accent on one. The square case brings that geometry to the front, and on this model a Medusa head at twelve and decorative screws around the perimeter push the architectural quality further. The case itself is PVD over recycled stainless steel — a detail that rarely makes it into the conversation about luxury fashion watches but is worth noting. At 30mm the case sits compactly, as intended for this line, and the black sunray dial deepens the contrast against the gold in a way that a paler dial would not. The bracelet links continue the Greca motif rather than switching to a plain finish, so the watch reads as a single object rather than a case attached to a strap. The hidden butterfly clasp keeps the underside of the wrist uninterrupted.

Learn more about Versace
Gianni Versace founded his house in Milan in 1978 and built it on maximalism — bold prints, Greek key borders, and the Medusa head he took from the floor of the Roman ruins he played in as a child. Donatella Versace took over after his death in 1997.
The watches are Swiss made, produced through Timex Group's Swiss division, and carry the house iconography prominently: Medusa medallions on dials and crowns, Greca patterns on bezels and bracelets.
Movements are Swiss quartz and automatic. The watches sit above the licensed-fashion tier on build, while remaining unmistakably design-led rather than horology-led.

Frequently asked questions, and things you should know about this watch
Can I swim with it?
Showering yes, swimming no. 50m covers splashes and brief immersion, but a swimming stroke generates well above the pressure that figure describes.
Will the glass scratch?
Unlikely. Sapphire is second only to diamond in hardness and shrugs off everyday marking.
Does it need a battery?
Yes. It is quartz, so expect a battery change every two to three years at a jeweller.
Is it a men's or women's watch?
Listed as women's.
