Stepping up in Diesel's range
The Mega Chief is built around a substantial 51 mm stainless steel case, brushed and polished, measuring 12 mm thick with a height of 59 mm. The navy blue sunray dial carries three chronograph sub-dials tracking seconds, minutes, and tenths of a second, with the date positioned at three o'clock. Silver-tone baton indices and luminous hands keep the layout legible. A scratch-resistant mineral crystal sits above, while a 26 mm textured black leather strap with a tang buckle keeps the watch in place on the wrist.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
Whether that appeals is a matter of taste, but the design intent is consistent and unmistakable, which is more than can be said for much of the category.
