Stepping up in Diesel's range
At 51mm across and 13mm thick, the Mega Chief is built to be noticed. The stainless steel case carries a matte olive-green ion-plated finish throughout, extending to the matching three-link bracelet with its deployant clasp. A scratch-resistant mineral crystal sits over the silver-toned dial, which features three chronograph sub-dials tracking seconds, minutes, and tenths of a second, a date window at three o'clock, and an "Only the Brave" plaque. Luminescent hands and indices aid legibility, with Arabic numerals at twelve. The bracelet runs 26mm wide, in keeping with the watch's deliberately substantial proportions.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
Whether that appeals is a matter of taste, but the design intent is consistent and unmistakable, which is more than can be said for much of the category.
