Stepping up in Diesel's range
At 57mm across and 14mm thick, this is a deliberately oversized watch that makes no attempt at understatement. The stainless steel case combines polished and brushed finishing, and sits on a matching 28mm-wide bracelet fastened with a deployant clasp. The silver dial carries a patterned texture and is read through mineral glass. Three subsidiary dials handle additional time zones alongside the chronograph, with a date window completing the layout. Luminous hands remain legible in low light. At 225 grams, it wears with considerable presence on the wrist.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
Whether that appeals is a matter of taste, but the design intent is consistent and unmistakable, which is more than can be said for much of the category.
