Stepping up in the same colour and case shape
At 48mm across and 13mm thick, this black PVD stainless steel case makes a deliberate impression on the wrist. Its most distinctive feature is the crown guard cage — a claw-like structure extending over the right side of the case, which gives the Griffed collection its name. The black sunray dial carries a skull motif alongside three chronograph sub-dials and stick indices. A mineral crystal sits above, and a 22mm genuine leather strap fastens with a single prong buckle.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
Whether that appeals is a matter of taste, but the design intent is consistent and unmistakable, which is more than can be said for much of the category.
