At 57mm, it does not try to flatter the wrist or disappear beneath a cuff; it sits on top of the wrist, commanding whatever is near it. The bolted industrial detailing on the dial reinforces the point: this is hardware, worn openly. All black from case to bracelet, the PVD coating and matching steel links read as a single slab of dark material rather than separate components, which suits the scale. The deployant clasp allows the bracelet to be sized precisely by removing links, so despite the bulk it can be worn without sliding around — a practical detail that matters when the watch is this large.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
