The Mr. Daddy line is Diesel's clearest expression of what the brand has always been after: watches that register as objects before they register as timepieces, scaled up to the point where subtlety stops being an option. The 2.0 generation pushes that further, with a case measuring 57 by 66 millimetres — not round, but asymmetric, shaped closer to something off a dashboard than a traditional case. At 14mm thick it is not a slim wear, and the white composite strap, combining leather and silicone, is cut wide enough to keep the whole assembly anchored rather than tipping forward. The white dial carries three time displays and a GMT function alongside the date, which means it reads as genuinely busy — that is the intent, not an oversight. Black indexes against the textured white give enough contrast to be legible, though legibility is not really the governing priority here. This is a watch that people around you will notice before you look at it yourself.
