Diesel's Framed line has always leaned into industrial scale, and the DZ4665 makes no apology for it. The 44mm black PVD case is built to be noticed, and the orange dial — worked with guilloché across the chronograph subdials — ensures it reads clearly even in dim light, the texture catching angles that a flat surface would lose. On the wrist it wears with the deliberate weight you would expect from a watch designed around visual impact rather than discretion. The black leather strap softens the industrial tone slightly and will bed in with wear, keeping the overall look from tipping into purely sportswear territory.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
Whether that appeals is a matter of taste, but the design intent is consistent and unmistakable, which is more than can be said for much of the category.
