The Little Daddy sits at the larger end of Diesel's Daddies family, a line built around the idea that a watch should be hard to miss. At 51mm it commits to that completely, and the black ion-plated case with rose gold subdials and accents creates a contrast that reads clearly across the dial without needing good light to do it. On the wrist it is unambiguously a presence piece, and the 24mm strap width is proportionate to that — a narrower strap would look wrong under something this wide. The dual time zone function gives it a practical argument alongside the visual one, though 30m means it stays off the wrist around water.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
Whether that appeals is a matter of taste, but the design intent is consistent and unmistakable, which is more than can be said for much of the category.
