The Mr. Daddy 2.0 is Diesel's most committed statement of excess — a 57mm case that makes no apology for its proportions and exists precisely because Diesel's customer base asked for something bigger than the original Mr. Daddy, which was already large. The brushed and polished gunmetal finish gives the steel some visual weight to match the physical kind, and the black two-layer dial organises four time zones and a chronograph without looking as chaotic as that brief suggests, largely because the gold-tone accents give the eye a clear path. On the wrist this is a watch you dress around rather than onto — at this diameter it sits above the cuff rather than beneath it, and the 28mm leather strap is proportioned to hold it without the whole thing tilting. The "Only the Brave" engraving on the caseback is a piece of brand mythology that has run through Diesel's watches for years and means something to the people who buy into it.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
