The brushed and polished gunmetal finish gives the steel some visual weight to match the physical kind, and the black two-layer dial organises four time zones and a chronograph without looking as chaotic as that brief suggests, largely because the gold-tone accents give the eye a clear path. On the wrist this is a watch you dress around rather than onto — at this diameter it sits above the cuff rather than beneath it, and the 28mm leather strap is proportioned to hold it without the whole thing tilting.
