Diesel's Mr. Daddy line has always been about deliberate excess — the case pushed to a size that most manufacturers would consider a prototype rather than a finished product, the dial loaded with more information than a straightforward day demands. The DZ7349 follows that logic through, stacking chronograph seconds, four time zones and a date window onto a black dial broad enough to carry all of it without crowding. At 57mm across, this sits on the wrist the way a cuff sits on a wrist — as a presence rather than an accessory. The bracelet's leather centre links soften what would otherwise read as purely industrial, giving the steel something to work against. The lume accents mean the dial stays readable when the light drops, which at this scale feels almost beside the point but is genuinely useful.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
Whether that appeals is a matter of taste, but the design intent is consistent and unmistakable, which is more than can be said for much of the category.
