This is a deliberate rejection of restraint, a chronograph designed to occupy space rather than disappear under a cuff. At that diameter, the layered black dial has room to do what multi-register chronograph dials are supposed to do: create depth and visual weight that holds up to the scale of the case. The gold bracelet, running 24 to 26mm wide at the lugs, keeps the proportions coherent rather than letting the case float on something too narrow for it, and the deployant clasp means security without fuss on and off.
