Stepping up in Guess's range
The Phoenix line is Guess's most overtly theatrical — the lion's head embossed at the centre of the dial makes the design intent plain from the first glance. Rhinestones ring the dial and the coin-edge bezel adds further relief, so this is a watch that does not ask to go unnoticed. At 43mm and 11.15mm deep, the case sits wide and relatively flat on the wrist, carrying the gold PVD finish with a high-polish shine that doubles down on the drama. The black silicone strap is the deliberate counterweight — smooth, light and flexible against what is otherwise an all-gold, all-dressed aesthetic, and at 99 grams the combination is lighter than the look implies.
