The original Ventura, launched in 1957 and worn by Elvis Presley, established the asymmetrical shield shape as Hamilton's signature. The Edge Skeleton does not preserve that silhouette — it breaks it. The case pushes the geometry further into abstraction, and the skeletonised dial takes the exercise deeper still: a dark gradient opens across the movement so that what is visible is revealed in stages, the mechanism emerging from shadow rather than simply displayed behind glass. The H-10-S inside is built on an ETA C07.111 base, which earns the 80-hour power reserve at 3Hz — an unusual combination that means you can leave it off the wrist for three days and return to it running. The Nivachron balance spring adds magnetic resistance that the case rating alone would not give you. On the wrist the 51mm lug-to-lug sits long but the 13.8mm profile keeps it from stacking — the rubber strap pulls it against the wrist rather than letting it float, which this kind of angular case needs. The seconds hand is worth a look in person: black with a red tip, cutting across the exposed movement in a way that reads as deliberate punctuation rather than an afterthought, and the exhibition caseback on a watch this architectural rewards the same attention from the other side.
