The steel in the case is fully recycled, sourced from the Jura region rather than drawn from new stock; the movement is a refurbished ETA 2824 rather than a fresh one; the strap is made from plant-derived textile rather than leather or virgin synthetics; and the packaging composts at home. Nothing about the construction is incidental — each element traces back to the same stated purpose. The dial rewards closer attention than a first glance suggests. The sunbeam brushing shifts noticeably as the light changes angle, giving a plain silver surface more range than its restraint implies, while the applied stick indexes in lume-treated steel sit cleanly against it. At 9.65mm the case is neither slimline nor bulky — it sits honestly on the wrist, the fabric strap keeping it lighter than steel would, and the overall effect is considered rather than conspicuous.
