The HydroConquest line has long been Longines' answer to the serious dive watch, and this 2026 addition follows the design revision introduced with the GMT variant two years prior — most visibly in the shift to applied indexes in place of Arabic numerals, giving the dial a cleaner, more architectural read. Three sandblasted dial colours make up this generation; the blue here sits alongside green and black siblings, all sharing the same all-steel build. At 42mm the watch is sized for legibility in the water, and the sandblasted finish on the dial absorbs rather than scatters light, which means the Super-LumiNova on the applied indexes reads clearly even before conditions demand it. The unidirectional aluminium bezel and screw-in crown are standard dive specification, but the double safety folding clasp with push-piece release is the sort of detail that matters when the bracelet is going over a wetsuit.
