A 45mm round stainless steel case, finished in silver and sitting 11 to 12.2mm thick, gives the Traguardo a solid, wearable proportion on the wrist. The blue sunburst dial carries sub-dials for the day, date, 24-hour indicator, and chronograph functions, with silver luminous hands reading clearly in low light. Mineral glass covers the dial. The matching stainless steel bracelet fastens with a push-button fold-over deployant clasp, and the watch is water-resistant to 100 metres. Power comes from a Miyota JP15 quartz calibre.

The Maserati brothers founded their workshop in Bologna in 1914 and built racing cars that won the Targa Florio and the Indianapolis 500. The trident emblem comes from the Fountain of Neptune in Bologna.
The watches are a licensed line produced by Morellato Group in Italy, not by the carmaker. They draw openly on automotive design: tachymeter bezels, perforated leather straps recalling racing gloves, dashboard-style dials, and case shapes referencing grilles and instrument binnacles.
Movements are quartz and bought-in automatic. The appeal is the association and the styling rather than the mechanics.
