The Traguardo's 45mm stainless steel case measures 12.2mm thick and sits on a 22mm stainless steel link bracelet with a folding deployment clasp. Behind the mineral crystal, a deep blue dial is arranged across multiple levels, with inline chronograph counters, baton hour markers, and luminous hands — a layout that draws a deliberate parallel to the dashboard instrumentation of Maserati's road cars. The Miyota JS50 H6 quartz movement drives the chronograph functions, and the watch is water resistant to 100 metres.

The Maserati brothers founded their workshop in Bologna in 1914 and built racing cars that won the Targa Florio and the Indianapolis 500. The trident emblem comes from the Fountain of Neptune in Bologna.
The watches are a licensed line produced by Morellato Group in Italy, not by the carmaker. They draw openly on automotive design: tachymeter bezels, perforated leather straps recalling racing gloves, dashboard-style dials, and case shapes referencing grilles and instrument binnacles.
