The Attrazione line draws its character directly from Maserati's automotive identity, and the green sunray dial makes that connection plainly: the shade is drawn from the racing livery the marque has used for decades, and it shifts noticeably between artificial light and daylight in a way that flat dials do not. Silver baton indices and pencil hands keep the face uncluttered despite the chronograph subdials, and the Trident sits on the dial without competing with the time. At 10.5mm thick, 43mm sits comfortably rather than aggressively, and 130 grams on a stainless bracelet gives the watch a presence on the wrist without feeling punishing across a long day. The gift set adds a second bracelet — same steel, black detailing — which means the watch reads differently depending on which is fitted, a more useful distinction than having two separate watches for different occasions. The Maserati brothers founded their workshop in Bologna in 1914 and built racing cars that won the Targa Florio and the Indianapolis 500. The trident emblem comes from the Fountain of Neptune in Bologna.
The watches are a licensed line produced by Morellato Group in Italy, not by the carmaker. They draw openly on automotive design: tachymeter bezels, perforated leather straps recalling racing gloves, dashboard-style dials, and case shapes referencing grilles and instrument binnacles.
Movements are quartz and bought-in automatic. The appeal is the association and the styling rather than the mechanics.
