The Velocita Slim takes its name seriously: at 7.78mm deep, it is genuinely flat for a 40mm steel watch, and it disappears under a shirt cuff in a way that many dress watches at this diameter cannot manage. The grey dial carries a sunray-checkered texture that shifts between near-black and silver depending on the angle of the light, keeping the monochrome palette from reading as plain. The SII quartz movement inside is built by Seiko Instruments, the same manufacturer Seiko uses for the regulated movements it supplies to other brands — accurate, self-sufficient, and unlikely to need attention.
