Maserati R8853154003 Sfida Dark Edition Bracelet Watch - W81325
Ref. R8853154003
Sits in Maserati’s upper tier here — more premium than three quarters of the Maserati watches we list, which start at £104.
Price range £104 to £419 across 106 Maserati watches in stock. The Sfida name translates from Italian as "challenge," which gives some sense of the register Maserati is aiming at here. The Dark Edition takes that brief literally: black PVD case, black dial, gunmetal bracelet — nothing catches light that isn't meant to, and the unidirectional bezel reinforces the sporting intent without softening into decoration. At 44mm in all-black PVD, it wears with a degree of presence on the wrist, and the gunmetal bracelet keeps the tone consistent rather than introducing contrast. The deployant clasp gives it a secure, considered close — appropriate for a bracelet at this width.

Learn more about Maserati
The Maserati brothers founded their workshop in Bologna in 1914 and built racing cars that won the Targa Florio and the Indianapolis 500. The trident emblem comes from the Fountain of Neptune in Bologna.
The watches are a licensed line produced by Morellato Group in Italy, not by the carmaker. They draw openly on automotive design: tachymeter bezels, perforated leather straps recalling racing gloves, dashboard-style dials, and case shapes referencing grilles and instrument binnacles.
Movements are quartz and bought-in automatic. The appeal is the association and the styling rather than the mechanics.

Frequently asked questions, and things you should know about this watch
Can I swim with it?
Yes. At 100m it is rated for swimming and snorkelling, though not for diving.
Will the glass scratch?
It can, over time. Mineral glass handles daily wear but will pick up fine scratches that sapphire would not.
Does it need a battery?
Yes. It is quartz, so expect a battery change every two to three years at a jeweller.
Is it a men's or women's watch?
Listed as unisex, and at this size it suits any wrist that takes the dimensions.
