The Successo line draws on Maserati's motorsport identity, and this chronograph makes that connection visible rather than merely implied. The sunray green dial picks up light and shifts it, the orange running-seconds hand cuts across the sub-dials with deliberate contrast, and the overall palette sits closer to a racing instrument than a dress watch. The Maserati brothers founded their workshop in Bologna in 1914 and built racing cars that won the Targa Florio and the Indianapolis 500. The trident emblem comes from the Fountain of Neptune in Bologna.
