Maserati R8873621043 Successo Chronograph Bracelet Watch - W81292
Ref. R8873621043
Sits in Maserati’s upper tier here — more premium than three quarters of the Maserati watches we list, which start at £104.
Price range £104 to £325 across 73 Maserati watches in stock. The Successo line draws on Maserati's motorsport identity, and this chronograph makes that connection visible rather than merely implied. The sunray green dial picks up light and shifts it, the orange running-seconds hand cuts across the sub-dials with deliberate contrast, and the overall palette sits closer to a racing instrument than a dress watch. At 10.7mm thick, a 42mm chronograph on a steel bracelet has no business sliding under a cuff as easily as this does, but it manages it. The Miyota JS25 inside is a sensible choice for a watch worn this way — long battery life, reliable chronograph execution, and nothing to think about day to day. At 170 grams on the wrist, the bracelet has real presence, and the deployant clasp releases on two buttons, which matters on a watch likely to come on and off in a hurry.

Learn more about Maserati
The Maserati brothers founded their workshop in Bologna in 1914 and built racing cars that won the Targa Florio and the Indianapolis 500. The trident emblem comes from the Fountain of Neptune in Bologna.
The watches are a licensed line produced by Morellato Group in Italy, not by the carmaker. They draw openly on automotive design: tachymeter bezels, perforated leather straps recalling racing gloves, dashboard-style dials, and case shapes referencing grilles and instrument binnacles.
Movements are quartz and bought-in automatic. The appeal is the association and the styling rather than the mechanics.

Frequently asked questions, and things you should know about this watch
Can I swim with it?
Showering yes, swimming no. 50m covers splashes and brief immersion, but a swimming stroke generates well above the pressure that figure describes.
Will the glass scratch?
It can, over time. Mineral glass handles daily wear but will pick up fine scratches that sapphire would not.
Does it need a battery?
Yes. It is quartz, so expect a battery change every two to three years at a jeweller.
What size strap does it take?
20mm. Any strap of that width will fit, and on most modern watches quick-release bars make the swap a two-minute job with no tools.
Is it a men's or women's watch?
Listed as men's.
