Stepping up in Norqain's range
The Freedom 60 collection draws its name and its visual language from the sports watches of that decade — broad dials, tachymeter rings, subdials arranged with a deliberate openness that modern chronographs tend to crowd out. This version pairs a cream dial against the darker registers of the chronograph counters, a combination that reads as warm and purposeful rather than stark. The Calibre N19 runs on a Sellita SW510 base and carries 62 hours of power reserve, meaning a watch set down on a Friday evening will still be running on Monday morning. The double anti-reflective coating on the sapphire crystal keeps the cream dial legible in the kind of flat, indirect light where cream dials typically struggle, and the date sits quietly between four and five rather than interrupting the symmetry of the layout. The Alcantara strap — Norqain use the term with deliberate emphasis — is softer against the wrist than most leathers at first wear and takes less time to settle than a hide strap of equivalent thickness.

Frequently asked questions, and things you should know about this watch
Can I swim with it?
Yes. At 100m it is rated for swimming and snorkelling, though not for diving.
Will the glass scratch?
Unlikely. Sapphire is second only to diamond in hardness and shrugs off everyday marking.
Does it need a battery?
No. It is automatic — the motion of your wrist winds it, and there is no cell to replace.
How long does it run for when it's not worn?
About 62 hours fully wound — enough to survive a night off the wrist, but not a full weekend.
What size strap does it take?
20mm. Any strap of that width will fit, and on most modern watches quick-release bars make the swap a two-minute job with no tools.
Will it fit my wrist?
Lug-to-lug is 53.1mm, which suits wrists from roughly 18.5cm (7¼ inches) upward.
Lug-to-lug decides fit more than case diameter does.
Is it a men's or women's watch?
Listed as men's.
