Norqain Adventure Chrono NHL Limited Edition 41mm
Ref. N1500.17S05.W01.R01
Norqain's partnership with the NHL runs deeper than a logo on the dial. The edition is capped at 1,917 pieces — the year the league was founded — and the design earns that number rather than merely displaying it. The white dial is textured to read like a freshly cut rink surface, and the small seconds subdial at nine o'clock is drawn as a face-off circle, complete with crossed hockey sticks at its centre. The inner bezel carries a pulsometer scale with a red "TIMEOUT" marker, and the screw-down crown is ringed in the same red rubber, so the sporting references accumulate without tipping into costume. The rubber strap is compounded with material from an actual hockey puck — a detail that sounds like a press release until you feel the texture against the wrist. Through the exhibition caseback, the N17 movement is visible alongside the official NHL mark and each watch's individual sequence number out of 1,917. The calibre itself is built on the Sellita SW500 architecture, which Norqain runs with a personalised rotor and a 62-hour power reserve — enough to sit on a shelf over a long weekend and still be running on Monday morning. The left flank of the case carries a customisable engraving plate, which transforms a limited-edition watch into something that can be made genuinely singular.

Frequently asked questions, and things you should know about this watch
Can I swim with it?
Yes. At 100m it is rated for swimming and snorkelling, though not for diving.
Will the glass scratch?
Unlikely. Sapphire is second only to diamond in hardness and shrugs off everyday marking.
Does it need a battery?
No. It is automatic — the motion of your wrist winds it, and there is no cell to replace.
How long does it run for when it's not worn?
About 62 hours fully wound — enough to survive a night off the wrist, but not a full weekend.
Will it fit my wrist?
Lug-to-lug is 48.90mm, which suits wrists from roughly 16.5cm (6½ inches) upward.
Lug-to-lug decides fit more than case diameter does.
Is it a men's or women's watch?
Listed as men's.
