Revealed at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026, this is the Artelier's return after years away — the most formally dressed collection in the Oris catalogue, now reinterpreted by Lena Huwiler, who at 24 became the youngest designer to lead a major Oris release. Her brief was to keep the lineage intact while stripping back the complexity that made earlier versions difficult to read. The result is a dial that does exactly two things: a moon phase at noon, its disc patterned with stars against the midnight blue field, and a 24-hour second time zone at 6 o'clock. The Calibre 782 shares its bones with the previous 781 but loses the gearing that drove the surplus subdials — so what remains is genuinely useful rather than merely present. At 39.5mm the case sits where a dress complication should, and at 11.8mm it is slim enough to clear a cuff without ceremony. The layered dial construction — a curved outer ring carrying stepped applied indices around a textured central disc — catches light differently at different angles without ever becoming difficult to parse. Moon phase corrections and the GMT function run through the crown and a single pusher between 4 and 5 o'clock, which keeps the case profile clean. The red rotor is visible through the exhibition caseback, one of the more cheerful small details on a watch that otherwise plays it straight.
