The dial takes its name from *sumi-iro*, the Japanese term for ink-black, and its texture from raw silk yarn — a radial pattern that shifts under light across the dark charcoal surface. The open-heart window at 9 o'clock frames the balance wheel directly, while a 24-hour subdial sits recessed at 6. The dual-curved sapphire crystal carries an inner anti-reflective coating, and the case measures 40.2 mm across and 13 mm deep with a Super-Hard Coating over the stainless steel. The seven-piece bracelet draws on 1970s metal bracelet design, with short 6 mm links and solid end links that follow the wrist closely. A push-button deployment clasp secures the fit. Inside, the in-house 6R5J automatic runs at 21,600 vph with a 72-hour power reserve. A screw-down exhibition caseback reveals the movement from the reverse.
