The Youngtimer name points directly at the inspiration: the pale pink and white sports cars that came out of the 1980s and 90s, a specific aesthetic with a cult following that has only grown. This Speedtimer maps that palette onto a panda-dial layout — black subdials against the pink main dial — drawn from the SSC813 and, further back, from the flowing case shapes of the original 1960s and 70s Speedtimer line. It is an unusually coherent piece of retronym design: the colour earns its place in the story rather than sitting on top of it. At 39mm it wears closer to a classic sports chronograph than to the oversized end of the Prospex range, and the solar V192 beneath the dial means the six-month power reserve at full charge removes any meaningful maintenance concern. The pink-tinted bracelet keeps the motorsport reference consistent all the way to the wrist rather than dropping it at the lug.
