The T-Touch line began in 1999 as the first watch to use touch-sensitive sapphire crystal as its primary interface, and the Connect Sport is the current expression of that idea — a Swiss Made hybrid that pairs analogue hands with an AMOLED display behind the same crystal you tap to drive it. The orange-strap variant is one of six colourways at launch, and it is the most legible about what this watch is: a piece built for active use, not dressed down from something formal. Titanium at 63 grams keeps it honest on the wrist for a watch carrying this much — tactile sapphire, ceramic bezel, AMOLED screen, heart rate, step counter, notifications and solar charging managed through a system Tissot calls SwALPS. The solar cells are integrated into the dial itself, and Tissot rates the accumulator as lasting several months in connected modes, effectively indefinitely in watch-only use. The one genuine limitation reviewers agree on is the 50-metre water resistance, which is adequate for rain and swimming but rules out anything deeper.
