The T-Touch line began in 1999 as the first watch to use touch-sensitive sapphire glass as its primary interface — a genuinely novel idea at the time. The Connect Sport, announced at the end of 2023, carries that logic forward into a full solar-powered smartwatch with an AMOLED display, heart rate monitoring, activity tracking and smartphone notifications, all governed by SwALPS, Tissot's low-power operating system. The result sits in an unusual category: a Swiss Made watch that also replaces your fitness tracker. At 43.75mm with a lug-to-lug just under 50mm, it wears closer to a 40mm dress watch than the number suggests, and at 13.5mm it clears a shirt cuff without the bulk most sport watches of this type carry. The titanium case keeps the weight at 69 grams without the strap — genuinely light for what is inside. The white ceramic bezel and white silicone strap make this variant the most graphic of the six colourways: sharp contrast against the black hybrid dial, with its luminous pyramid markers and stick indices. Navigation via the touch crystal or the side pushers takes a few minutes to internalise and then largely disappears. The one honest caveat is the 50m water resistance, a step back from the 100m the earlier T-Touch Connect Solar offered, and the point most reviewers have noted. For swimming it holds; for diving it does not.
