The T-Touch line began in 1999 as the first watch to use a touch-sensitive sapphire crystal as its interface, and that founding idea runs unbroken into the Connect Sport. Announced at the end of 2023, the Connect Sport represented a deliberate shift: where its predecessor, the Connect Solar, read clearly as a connected device, this one was drawn to look like a proper sports watch first. The ceramic bezel and analogue dial do most of that work, with the AMOLED screen sitting quietly above six o'clock rather than dominating the face — reviewers consistently noted how well it disappears until called upon. The titanium case with rose gold PVD sits at 43.75mm and 13.47mm deep, which is reasonably compact for everything housed inside: solar charging, a full activity suite including heart rate and VO2 max via the T-Connect app, perpetual calendar, multiple chronograph modes, and automatic daylight saving adjustment. The SwALPS system means charging is largely passive — almost indefinite in watch mode, and measured in months even in connected use. The beige silicone strap against the rose gold case gives this variant a softer register than the blacked-out or titanium siblings, and the quick-release folding clasp with diver extension means it adapts to a wetsuit cuff without tools. The 50-metre water resistance is the one concession to the electronics inside, and worth knowing before taking it into the pool.
