Stepping up in the same dial colour
The Norah is Tommy Hilfiger's answer to the dress-watch-as-jewellery question: a mini-tonneau case at 22mm that sits closer to a bracelet charm than to a conventional watch face, paired with a chain-link bracelet narrow enough at 10mm to pass as a fine metal band. The proportions are deliberately retro, recalling the slim cocktail watches of earlier decades. What makes it work is the contrast between materials: the polished steel case against a gold-ion bezel, and both of those against a midnight blue sunray dial with Roman numerals. The dial catches light differently depending on angle, and the depth of that blue keeps it from reading as purely decorative. The deployment clasp is a considered choice on a bracelet this delicate — easier to manage than a fold-over and kinder to the links over time.

Frequently asked questions, and things you should know about this watch
Can I swim with it?
No. At 30m it will survive rain and handwashing, but not submersion of any kind.
Will the glass scratch?
It can, over time. Mineral glass handles daily wear but will pick up fine scratches that sapphire would not.
Does it need a battery?
Yes. It is quartz, so expect a battery change every two to three years at a jeweller.
What size strap does it take?
10mm. Any strap of that width will fit, and on most modern watches quick-release bars make the swap a two-minute job with no tools.
Is it a men's or women's watch?
Listed as women's.
