Vivienne Westwood Limehouse 34mm Ladies Watch
Ref. VV244GRGD
Sits in Vivienne Westwood’s upper tier here — more premium than three quarters of the Vivienne Westwood watches we list, which start at £140.
Price range £140 to £325 across 24 Vivienne Westwood watches in stock. The Limehouse takes its cues from the integrated-bracelet sports watches of the 1970s — those pieces where case and bracelet read as a single object — and translates that architecture into something built for a smaller wrist. The octagonal bezel and the matching octagonal inner dial frame give it a faceted, almost geometric severity that sits in deliberate tension with the material it contains: dark forest-green mother-of-pearl, which shifts and blooms under changing light in a way no flat colour can. At 8mm deep, it disappears under a cuff with ease, and the bracelet's articulated links taper cleanly into the butterfly clasp without any visible bulk at the wrist. The integrated construction means there is no gap between case and bracelet to break the line, which is exactly what the 1970s originals that inspired it were chasing.

Learn more about Vivienne Westwood
Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren opened a shop at 430 King's Road in 1971, and over the next few years it became the outfitter of British punk. Westwood went on to become one of the most decorated designers Britain has produced, with the orb logo — a sovereign's orb with a Saturn ring — as the house signature from 1987.
The watches are licensed rather than made in-house, produced under agreement by a British accessories manufacturer and sold through department stores and jewellers.
They carry the house language directly: the orb on the crown or the dial, tartan and heritage-check straps, asymmetric cases, and a willingness to be decorative that most watch brands avoid. Quartz movements, fashion pricing.
Westwood died in 2022. The house continues, and the watch line with it.

Frequently asked questions, and things you should know about this watch
Can I swim with it?
Showering yes, swimming no. 50m covers splashes and brief immersion, but a swimming stroke generates well above the pressure that figure describes.
Will the glass scratch?
It can, over time. Mineral glass handles daily wear but will pick up fine scratches that sapphire would not.
Does it need a battery?
Yes. It is quartz, so expect a battery change every two to three years at a jeweller.
Is it a men's or women's watch?
Listed as women's, though at 34mm it sits in the range that suits anyone.
Cheapest place to buy
Goldsmiths is the only UK retailer we track stocking this reference, so there is nothing to compare it against today.
Who are Goldsmiths?
Goldsmiths has been selling watches in Britain since 1778 and is part of the Watches of Switzerland Group, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange. They are an authorised dealer, so a watch comes with the manufacturer’s own warranty.
