The grade 5 titanium case measures 42.5mm across and 12.25mm thick, with a satin-finished bezel notched at 60 positions — a detail drawn from historical marine chronometers. The crown is screw-down, protected by a shoulder, and water resistance is rated to 100 metres. Both the front domed sapphire crystal and the exhibition caseback carry anti-reflective coatings on each side. The ocean blue dial is PVD-treated and vertically satin-brushed, with rhodium-plated applied indices and Super-LumiNova-treated hands. An open-worked small seconds sits at 6 o'clock; a power reserve indicator occupies 12. Inside, the in-house A&S6302 runs at 28,800vph with a 60-hour reserve and carries COSC chronometer certification. The skeletonised winding rotor is machined from a single block of 22-carat red gold. An integrated titanium bracelet with curved, domed links and a folding clasp completes the watch, with a quick-change system allowing it to be swapped for the included rubber strap.

John Arnold was the outstanding English watchmaker of the eighteenth century, and the one who made precision timekeeping practical. Harrison had proved a chronometer could work; Arnold made it manufacturable, and it was Arnold who coined the word chronometer in its modern sense.
His detent escapement and helical balance spring became the basis of marine chronometer design for the next hundred and fifty years. His chronometers went to sea with Captain Cook, and his workshop and his son John Roger Arnold supplied the Royal Navy through the age of sail.
Arnold also made a watch small enough to be set into a ring, presented to George III, which was the technical marvel of its day.
The name was revived in modern Swiss watchmaking and the company now operates from La Chaux-de-Fonds under the same ownership as the movement maker La Joux-Perret.
Modern Arnold & Son keeps to the founder's territory — visible mechanics, tourbillons, dead-beat seconds and true-beat complications, generally with the movement architecture displayed on the dial side rather than hidden behind it.
