Bering 10141-404 Black Silicone Strap Watch - W74226
Ref. 10141-404
Bering's Scandinavian design language is at its most legible here: a white dial, black markers, and a clean three-hand layout that removes everything decorative and leaves only what tells the time. The frameless approach lets the dial read wider than the case alone would suggest. The polished silver case against the matte black silicone strap is a considered contrast — cool metal beside soft texture — and on the wrist the flat sapphire crystal keeps the profile low enough to sit neatly beneath a cuff. At 30m this is a watch for daily life rather than the water, but the silicone strap handles the knocks and moisture of an ordinary day without complaint.

Learn more about Bering
Bering was founded in Denmark in 2004 and named for Vitus Bering, the Danish navigator who charted the strait between Siberia and Alaska. The Arctic reference is the brand's whole design argument: clarity, cold light, nothing surplus.
That translates into a consistent look — very slim cases, milanese mesh bracelets, flat dials with minimal markers, and a strong preference for ceramic and titanium over steel.
The technical claim is the glass. Bering fits sapphire across much of the range, and has built its marketing around scratch resistance at price points where mineral glass is the norm.
The company also produces solar-powered models and a substantial range of ceramic watches, and sells widely through European jewellers.
These are design-led quartz watches rather than horological objects, and they are honest about that. What they offer is a Scandinavian aesthetic executed consistently, at a price that does not require thinking twice.

Frequently asked questions, and things you should know about this watch
Can I swim with it?
No. At 30m it will survive rain and handwashing, but not submersion of any kind.
Will the glass scratch?
Unlikely. Sapphire is second only to diamond in hardness and shrugs off everyday marking.
Does it need a battery?
Yes. It is quartz, so expect a battery change every two to three years at a jeweller.
Is it a men's or women's watch?
Listed as women's.
