At 51mm across and 13mm thick, the Mega Chief wears as a substantial round-cased watch in gunmetal-tone stainless steel. The grey dial carries chronograph sub-dials alongside the main hours, minutes, and seconds, with a date function also present. Luminous treatment on both the hands and hour markers maintains legibility in low light. A mineral crystal sits over the dial, and water resistance runs to 100 metres. The stainless steel bracelet fastens with a push-button deployment clasp, and the 26mm lug width reflects the case's broad proportions. At 202g, it sits with noticeable weight on the wrist.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
Whether that appeals is a matter of taste, but the design intent is consistent and unmistakable, which is more than can be said for much of the category.
