The 51mm black PVD case sits bold on the wrist, with a fixed bezel engraved with the Diesel logo and crown guards flanking the chronograph pushers. The multi-layered grey and black dial carries three subdials — measuring 1/10th seconds, 60 seconds, and 60 minutes — alongside a date window at three o'clock and an "Only the Brave" plaque at twelve. Red luminous hour and minute hands contrast against a white seconds hand. The bright red silicone strap, 26mm wide, fastens with a stainless steel buckle.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
Whether that appeals is a matter of taste, but the design intent is consistent and unmistakable, which is more than can be said for much of the category.
