Stepping up in Diesel's range
At 51mm across and 59mm in length, the Mega Chief wears large on the wrist — a round black IP stainless steel case with a 12mm profile. The grey sunray dial carries black-and-grey indexes alongside the chronograph sub-dials and a date window, the latter marked with Diesel's "Only the Brave" tag. Mineral glass covers the dial. The brown genuine leather strap measures 26mm wide, features debossed detailing, and fastens with a buckle. Water resistance stands at 100 metres.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
Whether that appeals is a matter of taste, but the design intent is consistent and unmistakable, which is more than can be said for much of the category.
