Stepping up in the same colour and case shape
A large 48mm gunmetal grey stainless steel case defines this piece from Diesel's Griffed collection, sitting at 13mm thick. The case edge features roll bar-inspired side clips that wrap around the perimeter, giving it a distinctly industrial, armoured character. The grey sunray dial carries three subdials for chronograph minutes, seconds, and 24-hour tracking, alongside a date window, with stick indices throughout. A 22mm brown genuine leather strap with a traditional buckle completes the watch, and the mineral crystal sits behind those protective case clips.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
Whether that appeals is a matter of taste, but the design intent is consistent and unmistakable, which is more than can be said for much of the category.
